Origin

Charlie the Unicorn is an animated short created around 2005 by Jason Steele of the studio FilmCow, first posted on Newgrounds and later YouTube. It follows Charlie, a cynical gray unicorn, as two hyperactive companions badger him into journeying to a magical ‘Candy Mountain,’ which ends with a rude surprise.
