The face belongs to NBA guard Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young, then playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Young, a Los Angeles native who had earned the nickname ‘Swaggy P’ for his flamboyant, supremely confident on-court persona, was a natural in front of a camera. The clip comes from an episode of the YouTube web series ‘Thru The Lens’ by prominent basketball photographer Cassy Athena, uploaded on July 22, 2014, which followed Young through a day in his life and gave fans fly-on-the-wall access to a player away from the arena.
