The photograph is a behind-the-scenes candid taken by director Jon Watts on the set of Spider-Man: Far From Home in July 2019. It shows Tom Holland, in costume, leaning toward Zendaya and gesturing energetically mid-explanation, while she looks back at him with an expression of flat, unmoved patience.

Watts posted it to Instagram, and it was reshared publicly on July 8, 2019. A cropped version on a fan account took over 16,000 likes within a month.
