Cereal Guy is a rage-comic character — a crudely drawn man captured mid-spoonful of cereal — that circulated on sites like 4chan and Reddit around 2011. Like other rage-comic faces, he was reused as a fixed reaction expression rather than tied to one original joke. The base drawing simply shows him holding a spoon near his mouth.

Holding his spoon, Cereal Guy reacts to a story or claim with deadpan, unimpressed skepticism — the “go on…” or “and then?” expression of someone listening but not buying it.
