Me Gusta is a distorted, wide-mouthed rage-comic face drawn in the crude MS-Paint style of the early rage-comic era. It appeared around 2010–2011 and was captioned with the Spanish phrase “me gusta,” meaning “I like it.” Like other rage faces of the period, it originated and circulated in user-made comic strips on sites such as 4chan, Reddit, and FunnyJunk, where a shared library of reusable faces let anyone assemble a quick gag.

It admits an odd or guilty pleasure — enjoying something gross, cringeworthy, or socially unacceptable that one probably shouldn’t.
